*sigh* its amazing how far thing have come, and how fast it all goes by. So many fond memories, an end of an era of sorts. I will remember it all fondly. Hrm? No not the end of my college education, I finally got Bring Down The Sky for Mass Effect and played it through pretty much to the death. 90 minutes of well spent Microsoft points. Ah…

Indeed, yes, the end of my college years are just ahead of me. 1 last month of deadlines, crazy happenings and tears until I go out into the big wide world full of deadlines, crazy happenings, male baldness and tears. It sure is going to be different.

This means that moi has to find a job, a proper job. Oh. Bugger. I’m confident that I have some really good talent to put to use for a company but I’m still unsure as to what to go into. Should I just be applying for Illustration or Graphic Design positions? On the other hand I’m really looking forward to working to real deadlines, for real projects, earning real money (for real comics) and developing as the creative individual I am. But if anyone knows of any jobs going (in Glasgow or nearby) that would be a great position for me, send an email or a note to me which would be a great help.

Back to college, oh man do we have a shit load of work to do. On top of our graded unit (which is to be presented next week) we have our creative industries things (Business cards, corp identity and a shitload of essays) we have also been given a live project for a bus company’s billboard advertisement. First prize is £150 and a 6 week/months experience working with the design agency who set us the brief. Which is complete balls I think as if my work is to be published on something as big as a billboard and be seen by maybe thousands of people, I want at least £300 upwards. On top of all THAT work, most of our studio time is taken up by design groups coming in to give us lectures on what they might be looking for.

Oh and next week we’re going to be given yet another brief.

I’ve been stream lining caffeine constantly, working until 2-3 am and then waking up at 6 am to get the train in for college. Is it any wonder why I seem to be going hallucinating about squirrels with guns?

*sigh* My clown muse is about the only thing that’s keeping me insane at the moment.
